A study in the late 90’s compared the blood level of Thiols in people who were getting wellness chiropractic care (defined as regular adjustments for two or more years) with people not getting that care. The Bottom LineWhat if we combined the information obtained from the long-lived people from the Nicoya region of Costa Rica with research conducted just 10 years ago on how chiropractic adjustments increase the body’s natural production of anti-oxidants? It would appear that the best approach to slowing, stopping or even reversing the rate of aging is not found in a pill, potion, lotion or treatment but rather in living a healthy lifestyle with a healthy nervous system.
