To see how your lifestyle can affect you in the years to come, be aware of these 8 components 1. Gender: Generally, women outlive men. 2. Blood Pressure: Know and maintaining normal blood pressure is important to living longer. High blood pressure is a common problem that often goes un-noticed because people may feel fine. And, many people with hypertension don't know their blood pressure is high. 3. Weight: Being overweight has reached epidemic proportions among both the adult and child populations. This may lead to serious health problems like diabetes, heart disease, and some cancers. |
4. Exercise: An active lifestyle is good insurance against both heart disease and cancer. Do you make physical activity or sports a regular part of your day? 5. Stress: How you respond to stress and your range of adaptability to stress can determine whether it breaks you down or contributes to your life. 6. Smoking: More than 400,000 deaths per year are related to the effects of smoking. 7. Diet: A good diet is key to good health. The current conventional wisdom is for you to eat 5 or more servings of colorful fruits and vegetables per day. And also substitute fish for meat as well as limit the amount of red meat and saturated fats you consume. 8. Chiropractic: Regular chiropractic care helps your nervous system maintain proper control of body systems. |

On the other hand, we also present more evidence this week that simple, health producing lifestyle changes could play a major role in both how long you live as well as how well you live. The choice is obvious and simple at this stage: you can either be controlled by health problems or take control of growing your health. Choose health! |
